The Custom House is pleased to provide import, export and related declaration services to UK organisations and also represent non-UK based companies.
Standard service level
Operating hours
Our offices are open 24 hours a day, supporting our clients seven days a week.
Timing
Our standard is to pre-lodged all import, export and transit declaration within 3 hours, however, we are generally much faster than this and typically respond within an hour of the request.
Representation
We offer indirect representation to non-UK based companies.
Delivery
Declarations are requested and returned via a dedicated email dropbox, which is monitored 24/7.
Simplified Declarations
We offer simplified import and export declarations, with bulk e-commerce declarations below £135 free from duty.
Data review
We provide an ongoing audit service to ensure that our client’s data is fully compliant, e.g. that the customs classifications are correct, the value for duty is right and that other data elements are appropriate.
